AARP is inflated with self importance and offering of absolute useless and/or nothing of value.Every "benefit" they offer can be improved upon with internet searches.
Even their medical insurance is only slightly less cost, but even less so when figuring in membership. Car insurance through Hartford? Don;t even waste your time trying to get a quote. Think you have any benefits - confirmed NO for the 1st 6 months to 1 year.
Think you are getting savings on merchandise - definitie NO WAY unless you want to spend more than 3 times as much to use a $10 "reward". How it got the reputation it did is unfathomable to me. There is nothing of worth. I got sucked in.
Save yourself from tons of junk email, dashed hopes in finding something of value they offer, zero customer service, zero transparency in what actually you pay for what you get.
Do your homework. You do not need AARP.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
I didn't like: False advertising and packaging.
