AARP - Bogus membership bill
Got a bill for a FIVE YEAR membership I NEVER signed up for. $65 , are you kidding?
I did NOT sign up . I have NO subscriptions to ANY magazines, so I did not sign up "By mistake." Wrote "CANCLE" across bill and sent it back. Will now not even consider joining this organization. Have a feeling they will harass me about this bill.
Seems like the kind of organization they are. Wish they would stop the mailings, phone calls, emails. Leave me alone! I want nothing to do with you!
Dishonest, misleading, worthless, ineffective, and just about any other negative thing I can think of. Trying to fill the "hundred word" quota, when the issue is simple. I will not pay for something I did not order.
Go away AARP. . .
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Location: Huachuca City, Arizona

I received one of these mailings stating I owed AARP money for joining and I did not join. There was an 800# I called and they verified I did not have a membership and would stop the mailings.
The number is 800-516-**** or email AARPmember@***.org. I don't know if this works or not but I did get a live person to talk to.
