Warning Warning Daily, I get calls or mail from AARP. Hit 60 years old and the calls and letters began and cannot get them to stop.

I am on a quest to alert everyone not to sign-up with AARP. They will bombard you with junk mail and calls. I have called numerous time to have my name removed, to no avail.

They say my info has been removed but the mil and calls continue.

AARP is nothing more than a marketing company for a conglomeration of businesses. It is too bad that when a person is not interested in a product, they will not accept NO for an answer.

Reason of review: Will not take me off their list..

AARP Cons: Do not want to be bothered with aarp.

AARP sells their membership lists. United Health Care contacts me at least once/week.

I AM NOT OLD ENOUGH FOR MEDICARE. They won't stop despite frequent requests. I called for SEVEN MONTHS. Each time I asked to be removed from their lists.

I learned today that the request was not filed till TWO WEEKS ago and it will still take months to take effect. I am filing an official complaint with the FTC. Maybe that is the only way to get off their list.

AARP sells their membership lists and then the *** begins. I canceled my membership over the junk mail, calls, etc.

I heard usps form 1500 is another way. I am going to file that. This mail is VERY annoying.

The Federal "Gubment" gives out everyone's info that is over 60 years old. Called the women's office that holds our Congressional seat (Ultra liberal D), their comment was call someone that feels this is an issue and hungup.

My problem happened when my moms doctors were suddenly dropped over 300 in our part of sw fl. Only 1 kidney Dr on list dermatology scarse as well as other specialities.

Then I looked at the 990Report and found AARP in 2015 had 2.4 billion in investments and only 75 million in the charity foundation yet the dues rose to $24 .

add to reports the would earn 1 billion on the acadropped her membership switched to non profit ins co. And I refuse to join and return mail to them seems some help to older people but mainly a money machine with no reason for the over 2 billion they could help a lot of Senior citizens with the cash or drop membership back to the rate that built them
